OUR NEW VENTURE

Well we've finally gone and done it!
My DD Heidi and I have taken the plunge and opened up a little shop which we hope to fill with all manner of vintage loveliness, re purposed finds and anything else that we think other lovers of a bygone age will covet as we do.

Olive and Edna's Emporium has just been launched and we are busily adding stock at the moment.
As you will know if you have visited me before I am a bit of a collector, and although I am still finding treasures wherever I go I am running out of space (and the dusting takes too long) and so I needed to find another outlet.

It would be both a fib and an impossibility for me to say I will curtail my hunting and so what better than to hope I can find a treasure or two for someone else.
Neither Heidi nor I profess to be vintage experts, but we will research our finds to give you the most information we can. We approach our buying as much from a style point of view as a need to uncover some priceless treasure. That's not what we are about.. Its nostalgia, make do and mend and a feeling of living life at a slower pace that drives us.
So if you are looking for a blast from the past, kitchenalia, utility pottery, vintage and vintage style jewellery, sewing ephemera or like the idea of something new created from something discarded then keep popping by.

If you spot something you would like just post 'RESERVE' under any of the main item photos and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Well off to take a few more photos, I hope we will see you there soon.
